There are also references regarding the accommodation of these birds, suggesting the use of a flexarium for martins and swallows whilst using an appropriately set up plastic container for swifts. There are some small but important differences in the type of insectivorous food being provided, whilst the suggested essential vitamin and mineral supplements are the same for all three species.
